Research
My research interest lies in the field of seismic oceanography. I use seismic waves to study fine structures within the ocean water column. By using active source seismology, we aim to reconstruct continuous temperature and salinity profiles from a combination of seismic inversion, imaging, and hydrographic data. The ultimate goal is to analyze dynamics of the Gulf of Mexico Loop Current.
