Eric is the Shell fellowship recipient within the Unconventional Reservoir and Outcrop Characterization (UROC) Consortium. He’s looking for new ways to integrate data and build novel prediction modeling techniques, especially the relationships between reservoir properties and chemostratigraphic/geochemical proxies.

Research

  • 3 years expertise in mixed clastic/carbonate systems and unconventional reservoirs in US, Canada, Argentina (e.g., Wolfcamp [2], Spraberry [1], Bone Spring [1], Eagle Ford/Austin [3], Mancos/Niobrara [1], Vaca Muerta [1], Duvernay [1], Marcellus/Utica [1], Woodford/Sycamore [1])
  • Skilled Integration of multidisciplinary datasets (e.g., Geological, Geochemical, petrophysical data, etc.) into stratigraphic frameworks and predictive models for reservoir property characterization and prediction, and basin modeling
  • Talented with time-management/preparedness, workflow optimization and business metric development
  • Adept at sequence-, chrono- and chemostratigraphy, multivariate statistics and analytical problem-solving
